“Live in the sunshine, swim in the sea, drink the wild air.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

What could be better than lazing around the porch on a hot summer day with an ice-cold drink?

Why, lazing around the porch on a hot summer day with an ice-cold drink lying on a handmade crochet summer pillow, of course! Pillows are such a fun make in the summer months, so I thought I would share with you some amazing summer-themed pillow patterns that I have seen throughout my Pinterest journeys. There are so many vibrant and fun summer pillow patterns out there that it was hard to pick just a few! Not only are they a fun and quick make, but they add such a fun vibe to the space they are in!

If you need a quick project to work on, pillows are good go-to item! Many of them are worked from graphs, and I just love working from a graph. I feel like watching the design come to life makes the process so fun and rewarding. It’s addicting because I always want to do just one more row to see what it looks like, and of course, time flies when you are having fun!

Having a pillow on the patio furniture just gives the backyard that relaxing vibe. There is nothing like relaxing in the sun with a good stack of pillows to lounge on. I made sure that I chose the very summer-est summery pillow designs that I could find for this round up so that you can fill your summer with…

…good times and relaxing vibes!

Ok, I just adore this Crazy Plant Lady Pillow cover by Crafting for Weeks! I feel like this pillow is a goal for me. 4th of July Heart Sprinkle Pillow

This 4th of July Pillow cover by Krystle of Heartsprinkle is so perfect for summer! I just love how she used the stitching to create little hearts. She made hers in patriotic colors, but I think it would also look cute in a variety of color combos!

This Sunshine Pillow Cushion by Nihal of Topknotch Crochet is one of the best things I have seen!
